As a local from Austin, it is hard for me to see other Austin locals, who are unsheltered. I have absolutely loved joining in any type volunteer work, especially with my mom who has always guided me to serve my community. This is why I had one idea that I made into my goal. To Give and provide back to the community and the citizens of Austin.

As someone who was raised not just in one part of Austin but all over central and south Austin, I know, and have known the struggles with homelessness, especially in South Austin. It takes a team to help reduce the increase in unsheltered people, which is why I am so invested in helping my local community and all of Austin. My belief is that through drives, donations, service and creating meaningful connections through friendly encounters we can help keep Austin a charismatic spirit and helpful community to those who need it most.

Born and raised in the city of San Francisco, I have witnessed firsthand the homelessness crisis across America. The sight of individuals struggling on the streets—lacking shelter, food, and basic dignity—has made it clear that homelessness is not just a statistic; it's a human crisis.

That’s why I’m committed to making a difference. Our nonprofit is dedicated to to making a difference in our local community. From organizing donation events, to raising funds, I believe that everyone deserves stability, dignity, and a place to call home.

As I grew up in Austin, I became increasingly aware of the hardships faced by the homeless community, seeing their struggles firsthand on the streets, in parks, and outside shelters. My parents always emphasized the importance of giving back, and from a young age, I learned that even small acts of kindness could make a difference. As a child, my family and I spent our Sundays helping the homeless, handing out food, water, and essentials to those in need. These experiences deeply shaped my understanding of compassion and the power of community, instilling in me a lifelong commitment to helping others.

As I got older and traveled, I saw that homelessness wasn’t just an issue in Austin, it was a global crisis affecting people everywhere. This realization strengthened my desire to take action, leading me to create the Austin Homeless Fundraiser. My goal is not only to provide immediate relief but also to raise awareness and advocate for long-term solutions that address the root causes of homelessness. I believe that through collective effort and compassion, we can help those in need find stability, dignity, and hope for a better future.
